Thought i would share something that i came accross on my last trip.
I got caught out with damaged luggage/camping equipment from the flight in Alice Springs a couple of days before i was to go bush for a week. Running around for replacements, all i found was sub standard gear at inflated tourist prices. Very frustrating.
Being the internet savvy new age traveller i am, jumped on line and found these guys that basically saved my trip from being a dissaster.

These guys, i think based in Sydney or Brisbane, not sure, had great stuff at great prices but more importantly, when i called and told them my predicament, really jumped on board to get my stuff to me asap. Sure, i paid extra for the express overnight shipping but with the price i got for the qulity of camping gear and supllies, this extra still put me agead of the rubbish they were trying to flog the tourists locally.

It dawned on me how much an impact this internet thing is having on our world. The great deals you can find for hotels and flights etc and now we no longer need to suffer at the hands of local charletans flogging rubbish to the unsuspecting traveller.
