There's a perfect tour you could look into. It's a '9 Day Vallry & Mountains' Tour. Starts at Melbourne and goes right round to Sydney. If you go to the AAT home page and click on South Australia, the tour name should come up, just to be sure the tour code is EMKS.

If you were looking to stay a little longer there's another tour, '13 Day Grand Southern Discovery' tour. This does a round-about trip of SA. The tour code is ESKS, have a look and let me knoe if you need further assistance!

Hi there. We have just done the 9 day tour from Melbourne. It was fantastic! A couple of the days were long in the bus, but the TD was great at finding things to amuse us! The Barossa Valley is great, and of course the Great Ocean Road. Have a wonderful time. We did! Dianne

You should see and do everything!! Most of the things are included in the tour. I'm not sure if it's an official optional, but we did a paddleboat ride down the Murray out of Mildura one afternoon, and that was amazing! On Kangaroo Island, some of us (my husband included) when to see a "penguin up close" tour in the evening. You have to rush dinner, but apparently it was so worth it!
Any more questions?

Hi Hamdianne,

Do you think i should take a back pack or a luggage bag? I was also thinking about getting some accommodation after the tour, where did you saty when you went? I want something thats not too dense on our budget but also somewhere close to the city... (the tour ends in Melbourne). We have the afternoon free in Mildura on the second last day, do yu know if the paddle boat rides are with a particular company so i can look them up?

PS, appologies for taking so long to get back to you, been a little busy preparing for Christmas!

Hope to hear from you soon, if not, have a great Christmas and a happy New Year!!
Liz
